Job summary

MCC Perth is seeking a Trade-Qualified Flexographic Printer to join our Perth team, operating advanced print technology across three shifts (5 x 8-hour shifts). You will maintain equipment, ensure safety, and support training for junior printers in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate IV in Print, has Flexo or Web Offset experience, and can work in a busy manufacturing setting with attention to detail and quality control.

Qualifications

• Must be Trade qualified with Certificate IV in Print or equivalent.
• Experience in Flexo or Web Offset printing is required or preferred.
• Willingness to work across rotating shifts and be part of a skilled team.

• Operate advanced print technology to deliver orders on time and to high quality standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printing machinery with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Inspect components and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.

About the role

We’re looking for a Trade-Qualified Flexographic Printer to join our MCC Perth team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer who values working alongside a skilled and supportive team of craftspeople. Our operation runs across three shifts, Monday to Friday (5 x 8-hour shifts). Rotating and Fixed Shifts available.

Your duties

• Operate advanced print technology to deliver client orders on time and to high-quality standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Inspect components and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
• Uphold quality assurance practices and maintain accurate production records.
• Support and train Assistant Printers, coordinating daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

About You

• Trade qualified (Certificate IV in Print or similar).
• Experience in Flexo or Web Offset printing.
• Experience with highly embellished reel-to-reel labels is an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience in the printing or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong quality control skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
