Job summary

Partum Engineering Pty seeks a Principal Transmission Lines Engineer with a strong electrical background to provide technical leadership on high‑voltage transmission line projects. You will support safe, reliable designs from detailed design through to construction across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include leading design activities, validating calculations and documentation, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years' experience in transmission line engineering or utilities sector.
• Experience with design verification, calculations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical expertise in electrical transmission line engineering.
• Coordinate designs and advise project teams on engineering solutions.
• Review electrical transmission line designs, calculations and specifications.
• Verify deliverables for compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve technical issues and align with project scope.
• Prepare and respond to technical queries and review vendor documentation.
• Support design and construction reviews and reflect changes in as-built docs.
• Identify opportunities to improve design processes and engineering quality.
