WSP Global Inc. in Melbourne is seeking an Associate/Principal Structural Engineer with strong experience in designing water‑retaining structures to join our Water Utilities team.

You will influence high‑impact projects that strengthen Australia’s water systems and build resilient communities. You’ll lead or support the structural engineering scope across multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects, guiding planning, design and delivery of durable structural solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience.
• RPV / RPEQ registration; Chartered status.
• Strong background in reinforced concrete, structural steel and water-retaining structures aligned to Australian Standards.
• Confident managing projects from concept through detailed design.
• Excellent communicator with strong client engagement and technical reporting skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental responsibility and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Manage structural design for pipelines, sewer networks, pump stations, treatment plants and water-retaining structures.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis in accordance with Australian Standards to support design projects.
• Provide structural input for proposals, including scopes, inclusions/exclusions and estimates for design and documentation efforts.
• Undertake reviews and design verifications.
• Apply Safety-in-Design principles and maintain compliance with OHS&E and quality requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates, strengthening capability within the team.
