Department of Transport & Planning Victoria in Melbourne is offering a fixed term role as Principal Strategy Officer, reporting to the Senior Manager Road Safety Strategy & Planning. The position drives strategic planning and supports the identification and development of road safety investment opportunities, coordinating advice across programs and policy areas.

You will engage executives and ministers, work within the Strategy and Planning team, and build key relationships across Road Safety

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (mandatory).
• Experience in a similar role (mandatory).
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or valid work permit/visa required.

This is a Fixed Term Position until 31st December 2027.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Road Safety Strategy and Planning, the Principal Strategy Officer will work closely with subject matter experts, the Road Safety Partners and other stakeholders to drive strategic planning and support the identification and development of road safety investment opportunities. You’ll apply road safety expertise to coordinate, develop and provide strategic advice across a range of programs, projects and policy areas, facilitating engagement and decision‑making by executives, the Secretary and the Minister. You’ll work as part of the Strategy and Planning team, holding key relationships across Road Safety Victoria, the Department and the Road Safety Partners.

Qualifications and experience

You’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or experience in a similar role (mandatory).
