Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Adelaide seeks a Bridge Engineer to deliver multidisciplinary bridge and civil structure projects in collaboration with government authorities and Tier 1 contractors.

You will undertake design, analyses, and produce engineering documentation while supporting cross-location teams and ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering required.
• Bridge design experience with AS5100 standards.
• Experience with analytical design tools and multidisciplinary projects is advantageous.

Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Transport team has an exciting opportunity for a Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic Bridges and Civil Structures team in Adelaide. You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with government authorities and Tier 1 contractors.

Our projects are predominantly infrastructure based, and as a Bridge Engineer, you will be working on small to large scale multidisciplinary projects that shape the communities in which we live. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia. With a focus on creating safe and climate resilient infrastructure that benefits the economy, society and the environment, you will have the opportunity to:

Undertake design and technical analysis of bridge and civil structure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

Produce high-quality engineering documentation, including calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.

Support collaboration with clients and project teams across multiple locations to deliver integrated solutions.

Support innovation in design and maintain a strong focus on safety and project timelines.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Bridge Design experience using AS5100
• Experience in analytical design using Midas Civil or similar
• Experience on multidiscipline projects is beneficial
