Job summary

ETE Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Principal Microsoft 365 Consultant to lead Modern Workplace projects in Australia. You will design, implement and optimise SharePoint Online, M365 and Power Platform solutions across diverse customer engagements.

With senior-level expertise, you’ll drive governance, information protection and architectural decisions while engaging in pre-sales workshops and solution demonstrations for major clients.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Microsoft 365 or SharePoint solutions.
• Experience with migrations, intranets, collaboration or document management.
• Sound understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration and governance.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of customer engagements.
• Genuine consulting mindset and enthusiasm for delivering quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Manage migrations, intranets and collaboration projects.
• Deliver information governance and security through Purview and governance practices.
• Lead solution design and provide technical leadership to project teams.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, customer workshops and proposals.
• Collaborate with customers to deliver high-impact Microsoft 365 outcomes.

The Opportunity

Depending on your particular expertise, you'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of Microsoft technologies and customer projects, including:

• SharePoint Online: Design, development, implementation, intranets and collaboration solutions.
• SharePoint Migrations: Planning and delivering migrations, modernisation and transformation projects.
• Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace: Designing and implementing innovative collaboration and productivity solutions.
• Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps and integrations across Microsoft 365.
• Microsoft Purview: Information governance, compliance, retention and information protection.
• Information Architecture & Governance: Document management, records management, security and collaboration.
• Solution Design & Technical Leadership: Working with customers to design and deliver effective Microsoft solutions.
• Pre-Sales & Consulting: Customer workshops, solution demonstrations, technical proposals and solution development.

You’ll work with a diverse range of customers, solving interesting technical challenges and delivering solutions that make a genuine difference.

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from experienced consultants with strong expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 and/or Modern Workplace technologies.

You don't need to tick every box! Whether you’re a SharePoint specialist or a broader Modern Workplace consultant, we’d love to hear from you!

Ideally, you’ll bring

• Strong hands‑on experience implementing Microsoft 365 or SharePoint solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint migrations, intranets, collaboration or document management.
• A sound understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration and governance.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of customer engagements.
• A genuine consulting mindset and enthusiasm for delivering quality solutions.

Highly Desirable – But Not Essential

Experience with any of the following would be particularly attractive:

• Microsoft Purview, including compliance, retention and information governance.
• Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
• Microsoft 365 security and information protection.
• Solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Pre‑sales, customer workshops and solution demonstrations.
• Previous experience with a Microsoft Partner or technology consultancy.
