Job summary

MMG Limited in North West Queensland invites a Principal – Major Studies to lead scoping, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, shaping the region’s asset strategy. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across exploration, geology, mining, processing and engineering to progress projects from initiation through feasibility.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering / Metallurgy or similar.
• 10+ years in project/study management for mining projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary mining project teams, including underground mining exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead mining project Scoping, PFS and FS with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support development of MMG North West Queensland Regional Strategy and Asset Strategy.
• Engage Operations and Project Delivery to ensure smooth transition from studies to operations.
• Support regional M&A due diligence processes.
• Develop and manage project scopes, deliverables, budgets and schedules.
• Identify and manage government and industry grants and partnerships.
