Job summary

Insight is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Principal in Perth to embed with client teams and deliver AI and data solutions end-to-end. You will translate business problems into structured technical outcomes, owning delivery from discovery to handover.

You'll work across Python/.NET/TypeScript, cloud (Azure), data pipelines, and LLM/agent applications, partnering with client engineers and Insight accelerators to drive measurable business impact in a hybrid Perth-based role.

Qualifications

• Shipped production-grade software through full lifecycle delivery (discovery to handover).
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or embedded-engineering environment.
• Strong full-stack capabilities across Python, .NET/C#, TypeScript, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Familiar with AI coding agents, LLMs, and modern development tooling (GitHub Copilot, AI services).

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end AI and data solutions embedded with client teams.
• Translate fuzzy business problems into structured technical designs and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with client engineers and analysts to build capability and documentation.
• Contribute to Insight's accelerator library and mentor junior engineers.
