Job summary

Humanised Group is seeking a Principal Technical Specialist to lead enterprise firewall deployments, upgrades and migrations with a focus on Check Point in a large, multi-site environment based in Brisbane. This hands-on role requires coordinating with project teams and vendors to deliver secure firewall upgrades.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Check Point firewall experience, including builds, upgrades and replacements.
• Strong knowledge of Check Point SmartConsole and firewall management.
• Enterprise Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Proven experience delivering firewall implementation or migration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Check Point firewall deployments, replacements, upgrades and configuration.
• Support Palo Alto firewalls and Secure Web Gateway technologies.
• Integrate firewall infrastructure with Cisco routing and switching.
• Support F5 LTM, GTM and WAF solutions.
• Manage firewall policies and rulebase optimisation using AlgoSec.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues and provide Level 3 technical support.
• Produce technical designs, implementation plans, change and rollback documentation.
• Work with project teams, vendors and operational teams to deliver firewall upgrades.
