Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a Lead Principal Data Center Facilities Engineer to serve as SME for mission-critical infrastructure across global sites. You will lead maintenance, commissioning, capacity planning, and change management, driving reliability, safety, and cost efficiency in high-demand environments.

The role requires senior technical leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and proven ability to deliver scalable solutions across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern maintenance standards for electrical, mechanical, liquid-to-chip, and life-safety systems across sites.
• Lead diagnostics for systemic reliability issues and remediation programs to improve availability.
• Set performance targets and KPIs; establish dashboards and audits for SLAs and compliance.
• Lead high-severity incident response with stabilization, communications, and scalable actions.
• Institute RCA methodologies and CAPA governance; track cross-site action closure.
• Develop and maintain emergency operations plans; run simulations and drive continuous improvements.
• Oversee site assessments, design reviews, uptime requirements, commissioning strategy, and testing on priority builds.
• Approve commissioning documentation and acceptance criteria before handover.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to integrate new systems with existing infrastructure and tooling.
• Serve as SME for complex operations; govern CAB and readiness for upgrades.
• Govern procedures, MOP/SOP/EOP standards, and access controls to ensure safety and audit readiness.
• Align operations with capacity and sustainability; optimize to reduce energy use and costs.
• Provide SME support for contracts, change orders, and due diligence.
• Define competency standards and training; mentor senior engineers and lead knowledge-sharing.
