Job summary

Marsh in Sydney is seeking a Principal Broker to join our Commercial team. The role is based in Sydney and operates on a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three days in the office, ideal for an experienced broker managing a commercial or corporate portfolio.

You will lead renewals, develop new business opportunities, onboard clients and build senior insurer relationships while expanding a diverse portfolio of risks and complex programs.

Marsh is seeking candidates for the position of Principal Broker. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role will suit an experienced insurance broker with 4+ years' experience managing a commercial or corporate portfolio of business. This role will provide exposure to a diverse portfolio of risks, leading and participating in large new business tenders and proposals, building a network of opportunities and designing and placing complex insurance programs.

• Develop, pursue and convert new business opportunities.
• Grow a commercial portfolio through new logo and organic expanded opportunities.

• Ensure effective account retention and defence strategies are in place for all clients.
