Job summary

Bluefin Resources in Australia seeks a Principal Azure Engineer with expert AKS experience at scale for a large container hosting project. Initially a 6 month contract likely to extend.

You will partner with platform leadership to set strategy, design resilient cloud architectures across Azure and (ideally) GCP, and build a GitOps delivery model with Argo/Harness. Strong Terraform and internal developer platform experience are essential.

Qualifications

Deep production Kubernetes experience at scale (AKS/GKE).
Azure experience in large enterprise environments.
GCP experience highly desirable.
Strong Terraform skills.
Experience building/running an internal developer platform.
Experience with GitOps delivery using Harness GitOps and Argo suite.
Familiarity with microservice architecture and multi-tenant platforms.

Responsibilities

Set platform technical strategy and multi-year direction.
Design and deploy resilient cloud architectures across Azure (and GCP where possible).
Build and operate the GitOps delivery model.
Develop the developer-facing platform and self-service abstractions.
Build observability and SLO tooling.
Write production-grade Go and Python for Kubernetes operators and platform services.
