Job summary

Peoplebank is hiring a Principal AI Engineer to shape AI at scale—leading design, development, and deployment of AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for customers and the business.

You'll influence AI strategy across the organization, drive adoption, and oversee production-grade AI products, platforms, and capabilities. Depending on interest, focus may be AI product engineering or AI platform engineering.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with solid fundamentals.
• Hands-on with Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI systems.
• Proven track record delivering AI-enabled products/platforms in production.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture and cloud-native development.
• Experience translating AI opportunities into business value and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional influence across Product, Engineering and Business.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered products, features and customer experiences.
• Partner with Product managers, customers and stakeholders to identify AI opportunities.
• Lead AI use cases from discovery to production deployment and monitoring.
• Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Drive AI product innovation while maintaining engineering standards and best practices.
• Develop scalable AI platforms and reusable tooling for broader adoption.
