Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant to join our Sydney Acoustic team. The role focuses on delivering building and architectural acoustics projects across data centres, health, commercial, defence, industrial and educational sectors.

You will manage projects and client relationships, develop your professional profile, and act as the go-to technical expert within Acoustics while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Ideally 7 years experience ideally gained in the buildings sector.
• Hold a professional qualification in engineering
• Excellent Acoustic technical experience
• Proven ability to successfully deliver projects.
• Local knowledge and experience in the Sydney market would be an advantage
• Knowledge of acoustic modelling software (Insul, Ease, SoundPLAN or CadnaA are a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in building and architectural acoustics.
