Job summary

Yarrawonga College P-12, operated by the Department of Education Victoria, is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher (Primary) for 2027 and beyond. You will contribute to planning, delivering and assessing high-quality literacy and numeracy learning across Prep to Year 6, within a supportive regional community.

You will work with families, colleagues and school leadership to ensure inclusive teaching, wellbeing and strong student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy teaching.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to inform practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas or programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching duties as required by the school.
