Yarrawonga College P-12 seeks an experienced classroom teacher to deliver quality teaching across year levels, supported by a strong curriculum framework and PLC-style collaboration. The role focuses on planning, preparing and teaching programs to meet diverse student needs within the Victorian public education system.

The successful candidate will contribute to school priorities, engage in professional learning, and support student wellbeing through collaborative practices with staff, families

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning with data-informed feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to reflect on practice and engage in ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve student outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other teaching-related and organizational duties as directed by leadership.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support co-curricular activities and student wellbeing initiatives.
