St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Orange NSW, is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for a 2 Point Primary Coordinator role. The position commences Term 1, 2027, and involves leadership responsibilities within a faith-centred school community.

The role requires embedding Catholic teachings, fostering student growth, collaborating with staff, and engaging with families and the wider community as part of the school’s mission.

Qualifications

• NESA and Diocesan compliance experience.
• Ability to tailor teaching to diverse learners using evidence-based practices.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and faith formation.
• Collaborative approach to pastoral care and student welfare.
• Proven classroom teaching track record with strong behaviour management.
• Understanding of Catholic teachings and school mission.

Responsibilities

• Support sacramental, liturgical, and prayer life while embedding Catholic teachings.
• Foster nurturing relationships to support spiritual, moral, and academic growth.
• Create an inclusive, learner-centred classroom aligned with policies.
• Use assessment data to identify barriers and tailor student support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school improvement and faith formation.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the broader community.
