Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian curriculum and core literacy/numeracy expectations.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies aligned with how students learn.
• Ability to monitor student progress using data and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area within the school.
• Undertake parent/teacher meetings and participate in school activities.
• Undertake non-teaching supervisory duties as required by the role.
• Assist in policy development and school priorities alignment.
