Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Head of Pricing Strategy in Melbourne, a newly created leadership role reporting to the CFO. This is not a pricing analyst title, but a mandate to build a strategic pricing function from the ground up and to lead a team of five in doing it.

You will design the operating model, governance, and define what excellent pricing looks like, then drive adoption with the rest of the business at the senior level.

Qualifications

• Gravitas at the top table with CFOs and executive leadership.
• Ability to define pricing or commercial strategy from blank page.
• Led teams of 5+ and built a function's credibility.
• Experience across sales, product and commercial teams; understands P&L.
• Driven adoption of new ways of working across a business.

Responsibilities

• Own pricing strategy end-to-end including governance, analytics and reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of five.
• Act as trusted advisor to the CFO, CSO, and executive leadership team.
• Build the pricing capability roadmap and future-state operating model.
