Job summary

Plenti is seeking a pricing and commercial analytics professional to join our Sydney team. You will help develop pricing strategies across lending channels and build analytical models.

You will work with AI and BI tools, analyze market conditions, and present insights to senior leaders. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and governance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in pricing or commercial analytics.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, STEM or related quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel.
• Strong SQL capability.
• Experience building dashboards using BI tools.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to analyze data and improve processes.
• Judgement to verify AI outputs.
• Exposure to product or portfolio profitability analysis in financial services.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Databricks experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and monitoring of pricing strategies across lending channels.
• Build, maintain and improve pricing models using statistical, database and AI tools.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity and assess impact on pricing, volume and margin.
• Design and evaluate pricing tests using lookback analysis.
• Improve pricing processes and governance framework.
• Prepare insights and recommendations for pricing forums.
• Support business cases, investment decisions and ad hoc commercial analysis for senior leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing performance, portfolio profitability and decision-making through data-driven experimentation.
