Job summary

Plenti, a fast-growing Australian fintech, is seeking a Commercial Pricing Analyst to support pricing and profitability decisions across our lending portfolio. You will develop models and analyses, monitor competitors, and translate market insights into actionable positioning.

You will build pricing tests, shape governance, and support senior leaders with business cases and ad hoc analyses. The role requires 2+ years in pricing or analytics, a quantitative degree, strong Excel and SQL, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years in pricing, commercial analytics or similar
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, STEM or related
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel
• Strong SQL and dashboards experience

Responsibilities

• Support the development, execution and ongoing performance monitoring of pricing strategies across Plenti’s lending channels
• Build, maintain and continuously improve sophisticated analytical and pricing models, leveraging statistical, database and AI tools
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity, assessing their potential impact on pricing, volume and margin
• Design and evaluate pricing tests, using rigorous lookback analysis to understand what worked, what didn’t and why
• Help shape and continuously improve Plenti’s pricing processes and governance framework, including preparing insights and recommendations for pricing forums
• Support business cases, investment decisions and ad hoc commercial analysis for senior leaders
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing performance, portfolio profitability and decision-making through data-driven experimentation
