Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is supporting a leading UK manufacturer and distributor in engine filtration technology, HVAC filtration, batteries and components. The Pricing/Business Analyst role focuses on data-driven pricing strategies while working with multiple departments to enhance margins.

You will report to the Sales Director and help shape pricing, collaborating with Sales, Purchasing and Operations to implement pricing updates and models across markets and customer groups.

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience as Business Analyst, Product Manager, Commercial Pricing Manager, Pricing Manager or Pricing Specialist are ideal.
• Comfort with data and presenting findings to stakeholders across the business.
• Experience using ERP/MRP/Finance & Reporting systems such as SAP/Sage/Dynamics and Power BI is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the data relating to pricing modules and frameworks across all customer groups.
• Use data to drive sales and uncover opportunities in new markets, channels or products.
• Analyse pricing processes, structures, contracts and systems to identify cost reductions and margin improvements.
• Develop an understanding of competition and target audiences, existing and prospective.
• Support Sales with product knowledge, Purchases on supplier negotiations, Operations on planning and all staff on pricing changes and models.
