Job summary
Chevron Australia Downstream is seeking a Fuel Pricing Analyst to support commercial performance through disciplined, data-driven fuels pricing decisions. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Performance teams to identify margin, revenue and growth opportunities while ensuring governance and accuracy.
This role offers exposure to market insights, competitor analysis and pricing tools, with responsibility for pricing governance, data integrity and actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Commerce or related field.
- 3–8 years of pricing, analytics or revenue related experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate data into insights.
Responsibilities
- Execute and support pricing activities for Retail and Commercial fuels.
- Monitor market trends, costs, pricing actions and margins.
- Review outcomes, discounts and variances; suggest corrective actions.
- Partner with Sales, Supply, Finance and Business Performance for insights.
- Prepare data-driven recommendations via reports, dashboards and presentations.
- Support governance, controls, and audit requirements for pricing.
- Maintain data integrity across pricing tools and systems.
- Utilize analytics to improve pricing effectiveness and visibility.
