Job summary

WNS is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to develop, deploy and test pricing data and algorithms within pricing systems in our Australia operations. You will prepare test plans, build test cases and gain deep understanding of pricing data sources and data engineering processes.

You will assist in applying statistical and actuarial analyses to pricing systems, design and monitor pricing processes, and explore automation opportunities to improve efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

Graduate in Computer Science, Actuarial, Analytics or similar.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant technical experience.
Technical skills: SAS, R, SQL; Excel and dashboarding; BI tools like Cognos or Tableau or R-Shiny; Insurance industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Focus on dataanalyse, develop, deploy and test pricing data and pricing algorithms in pricing systems.
Prepare test plans and construct test cases in pricing systems.
Develop understanding of pricing data sources, data engineering and manipulation logic.
Assist in implementing statistical, actuarial analysis into pricing systems.
Devise, implement and monitor pricing processes within agreed time scales and seek automation to gain efficiencies.
