Job summary

The Preventative Education Officer at the University of Sydney, Darlington, NSW, is responsible for supporting gender-based violence and sexual harm prevention programs within the Safer Communities Office. The role coordinates education activities, enrolments, scheduling and attendance tracking while promoting safer campus experiences for students and staff.

You will work with internal teams, maintain data, produce dashboards and reports, and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience supporting education, engagement or student experience programs in a tertiary education environment.
  • Experience maintaining program data and producing reports, dashboards or insights to support evaluation and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience using learning management systems, CRM systems and other digital platforms to support program delivery.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures and administrative processes.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Base Salary $107,312 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Preventative Education Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the University’s gender-based violence and sexual harm prevention programs and initiatives. Working within the Safer Communities Office, you will coordinate, administer and evaluate a range of preventative education activities that promote awareness, engagement and safer campus experiences for students and staff. This role contributes to continuous improvement and supports the University's commitment to meeting sector-wide standards and best practice.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

This position is designated as involving child-related work. To undertake or remain in this position, you are required to apply for and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
