Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. You will confidently program, set up and operate press brake machinery to produce quality parts.

We require 1–2 years’ experience, ability to read job paperwork, create and run bending programs, set tooling, and measure parts with attention to detail. This casual role moves with day shift hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Press Brake Operator | Acacia Ridge | $40-$47 per hour

Location: Acacia Ridge, QLD

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with a 1:00 pm finish on Fridays

Casual rate: $40-$47 per hour, depending on experience

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge.

We're looking for someone who can confidently program, set up and operate press brake machinery to produce quality parts.

What's on offer?

• Casual pay rate of $40-$47 per hour, depending on experience.
• Day shift hours of 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with an early finish at 1:00 pm on Fridays.
• Acacia Ridge location.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up press brake machines and selecting the correct tooling.
• Creating bending programs using information provided in job paperwork.
• Running existing programs for recurring parts.
• Bending parts to the required specifications and following correct bend sequences.
• Measuring and quality checking parts throughout production.Troubleshooting and adjusting programs when issues arise.
• Using measuring tools to check dimensions and angles.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area.

What we're looking for:

• At least 1-2 years' experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Experience creating press brake programs, as well as bending parts.
• Ability to set tooling and understand basic tooling selection.
• Ability to read and interpret job paperwork and specifications.
• Experience checking measurements, dimensions and angles.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Trumpf TASC 600 software would be beneficial.
• Ability to pass ongoing drug and alcohol testing and a police check.
• Current working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
