Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. You will confidently program, set up and operate press brake machinery to produce quality parts.

We require 1–2 years’ experience, ability to read job paperwork, create and run bending programs, set tooling, and measure parts with attention to detail. This casual role moves with day shift hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Experience creating press brake programs and bending parts.
• Ability to read and interpret job paperwork and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting up press brake machines and selecting tooling.
• Creating bending programs from job paperwork.
• Running existing programs for recurring parts.
• Bending parts to specifications and correct bend sequences.
• Measuring and quality checking parts; troubleshooting programs.
• Using measuring tools for dimensions and angles.
• Maintaining a safe, clean work area.
