Job summary

St Joseph’s School Hectorville in South Australia is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join the Preschool team on a permanent full-time basis. You’ll shape the learning environment and support children to thrive academically and personally within a warm, inclusive community.

You will plan play-based experiences, observe and reflect on each child’s progress, and collaborate with families and staff to uphold National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Qualifications

• Registration to teach in South Australia is required.
• Knowledge of National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience planning intentional, play-based learning.
• Ability to observe and reflect on learning to document progress.
• Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach.
• Commitment to teamwork and effective communication with families and staff.
