Only About Children in Griffin, Brisbane, seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to lead high-quality play-based learning and support children’s readiness for school. You’ll plan, document and assess progress while mentoring colleagues and partnering with families.

You will work within the EYLF and NQF frameworks, driving inclusive practices and a strong educational culture across the campus.

Qualifications

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Teacher registration or accreditation where required.
• Minimum three years' demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, child development and inclusive practice.
• Experience mentoring or training colleagues.
• Strong communication, documentation, reflection and relationship-building skills.
• Current Working with Children Check and state-based clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-quality early learning program that supports children's confidence, wellbeing and development.
• Plan, document and evaluate learning using the assessment and planning cycle.
• Use professional teacher judgement to design curriculum informed by child development, frameworks and evidence of learning.
• Support school readiness through oral language, social-emotional skills, problem-solving and meaningful group learning.
• Mentor educators in intentional teaching, documentation, reflective practice and inclusive learning.
• Partner with families to support each child's learning, wellbeing, culture and individual needs.
• Contribute to QIP, self-assessment, team meetings and campus-wide educational improvement.

Education
