Job summary

Natural Elements Early Learning Centre in Pottsville is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead an EYLF-informed program, foster child-led learning and build strong relationships with families and staff.

You will guide planning, reflect on practice, and support colleagues while ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and Regulations. We value play-based learning, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
• Meets the requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher under the National Regulations.
• Holds or is eligible for the relevant NESA accreditation.
• Has a sound understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards.
• Is passionate about play-based learning and child-led experiences.
• Demonstrates strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Values teamwork, professional reflection and continuous improvement.
• Is warm, approachable and genuinely passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a high-quality educational program informed by the EYLF.
• Support children’s individual learning, development and interests.
• Create engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Lead critical reflection, observations, documentation and ongoing planning.
• Support educators to strengthen their teaching practices and understanding of the curriculum.
• Contribute to a positive team culture built on collaboration, consistency and professional growth.
• Ensure practices align with the National Quality Framework and National Regulations.
