Job summary

Lower Macleay Pre-School is seeking a proactive leader to manage the educational program and drive the Quality Improvement Plan under the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard. You will act as Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person, prioritising safety and wellbeing for every child.

Qualifications

• Approved Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care, or approved early childhood teaching qualification
• Eligibility to be Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law
• Substantial early childhood experience including leadership or supervisory experience
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, child protection obligations and NSW Child Safe Standards
• Current Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificates

Lower Macleay Pre-School is a community-based, not-for-profit preschool at Smithtown on the NSW Mid North Coast, on Dunghutti Country. We are an incorporated association and registered charity, governed by a voluntary management committee of parents and community members. Our team of twelve delivers a high-quality, play-based program in a close-knit service where every educator knows every child.
