Since 2014, The Star Gold Coast has evolved into an unparalleled experience, offering lavish stays at The Star Grand's revamped five‑star hotel rooms, the opulent suites of The Darling, and Australia's pioneering Dorsett Hotel. Guests enjoy award‑winning venues such as Nineteen at The Star, Kiyomi, and Mei Wei, along with live concerts, theatre performances, events, and world‑class DJ sets at Atrium Bar.

As a Premium Services Host, you'll be the face of our premium gaming experiences, providing exceptional service to our valued guests. As an expert in the Star Club Loyalty Program, your extensive knowledge will enable you to promote member benefits and address a wide range of guest inquiries across all areas of our business. This fast‑paced, hands‑on role requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure a positive experience for our guests.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build memorable connections with local, interstate and international guests.

Training for this role will commence on the 24th of February 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to all guest enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of gaming promotions and services
  • Utilise multiple systems to manage memberships and Private Gaming Room access
  • Assist in conducting Gaming Promotions & Draws
  • Promote Safer Gambling & Monitor the Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Support the Hosting team with Meet & Greet and Farewell arrangements for interstate and international VIP members
What We’re Looking For
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and meet guests’ needs
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn other casino operating systems
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster
  • Eligibility to obtain a Casino Employee licence (includes thorough background checks)

To excel in this role, you’ll develop a deep understanding of the gaming industry and a genuine passion for creating extraordinary experiences. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as you’ll be interacting with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
