Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Premium Guest Executive- Interstate role based in Melbourne to drive marketing initiatives and grow the Interstate VIP segment, delivering exceptional guest experiences across our properties.

You will manage hosting lists, achieve KPIs, build cross-property relationships, and represent The Star at hosted events and promotions, with eligibility checks as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years gaming or VIP host experience.
• Sales or guest service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to develop relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated Hosting List of Interstate Gold, Platinum & Diamond members.
• Meet individual KPIs regarding sales budget targets and hosted member activations.
• Maintain and develop strong interpersonal relationships across properties.
• Represent The Star at hosted events and promotions on and off site.
• Coordinate member accommodation, restaurant reservations and interdivisional travel bookings.

As the Premium Guest Executive- Interstate working in the Premium Guest team, you will focus on implementing marketing initiatives to retain and grow The Star’s Interstate VIP segment. Your demonstrated passion for providing excellent guest service and ability to develop and maintain key relationships, will enable you to exceed expectations, promoting guest engagement and increasing visitation to The Star Sydney, and our QLD properties.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will work as a team to support the Vice President Premium Guest in the development and implementation of business plans in addition to identifying new and creative marketing opportunities.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Managing a dedicated Hosting List of Interstate Gold, Platinum & Diamond members
• Meeting individual KPIs regarding sales budget targets and the activation of hosted members
• Maintaining and developing strong interpersonal relationships across our properties
• Representing The Star at hosted events and promotions both on and off site
• Managing member accommodation and restaurant reservations requests and interdivisional travel bookings and RSVPs to events and promotions across our properties

What we are looking for:

• Prior 2+ years Gaming / VIP Host experience
• Previous Sales / Guest Service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commercial understanding and proven ability to develop relationships
• Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
