You will drive consistent food quality, plating to brand standards, and mentor chefs to build a high-performance kitchen culture while ensuring safety, stock control and collaboration with front-of-house for memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sous chef or senior culinary leadership.
• Experience in luxury or premium hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-opening, launch and ongoing operation of Mott 32 Melbourne.
• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations across all service periods.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and execution.
• Mentor and develop culinary team to build a high-performing kitchen culture.
• Ensure recipes and plating meet brand standards.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, inventory and food cost.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain food safety and workplace health and safety standards.
