Qualifications

• Prior steel fixing experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, position and secure reinforcing steel.
• Install reinforcement bars and mesh per schedules.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement plans.
• Tie and secure steel reinforcement per project specs.
• Check reinforcement positioning before concrete placement.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site personnel.
• Complete work in line with quality and safety requirements.
