Job summary

CBX Group in Australia is expanding its team to recruit reliable, skilled steelfixers and concreters for ongoing civil and commercial projects in a fast-paced construction environment.

As part of a supportive crew, you will read reinforcement drawings, cut and place steel, pour and finish concrete, and adhere to site procedures and quality standards. White Card certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in steelfixing or concreting.
• White Card mandatory for site access.
• Drivers licence and reliable transport may be required by site.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings.
• Cutting, bending, tying and placing steel reinforcement.
• Working with SL mesh, bar schedules and post-tension components.
• Ensuring accuracy, spacing, cover and compliance with standards.
• Formwork setup and preparation.
• Pouring, placing and finishing concrete.
• Using screeds, trowels, floats and power tools.
• Experience with slabs, footings, pavements and structural pours.
