Allshelter is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for fabrication and warehouse operations in Sydney. The role focuses on reviewing drawings and QC documentation, ensuring products meet designs before shipment, and maintaining traceable quality records.

A strong eye for detail and hands-on inspection experience are essential. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations and fabrication partners, resolve issues, and contribute to improving quality management and documentation

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets technical or fabrication drawings.
• Maintains accurate, traceable quality records and documentation.
• Identifies discrepancies, non-conformances and missing information.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering and fabrication drawings and QC documentation.
• Check products and documentation against required designs and specifications.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information and non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate, traceable quality records.
• Carry out visual inspections of fabricated components and welds.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain and fabrication partners to resolve issues.
• Delegate activities and provide clear direction to team members when required.
• Help improve the way we manage quality and documentation.
