Job summary

Allshelter is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Fabrication & Warehouse operation in Sydney. You will review technical information, drawings and QC documentation, ensuring alignment with designs before shipment.

Ideal candidates have fabrication, manufacturing, engineering or quality experience, with a strong eye for detail, good documentation skills and the ability to communicate issues clearly within a team.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and QC documents.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Communicate issues clearly and escalate as needed.
• Show initiative and accountability in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and QC documentation before shipment.
• Verify products against designs and specs.
• Identify discrepancies and non-conformances.
• Maintain traceable quality records.
• Perform visual inspections of components and welds.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and fabrication partners.
• Provide direction to team members when required.
• Suggest improvements to quality processes.
