Job summary

Precision Health Care in Dubbo is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our supportive team of therapists and staff. You will conduct client assessments, craft individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation across musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative cases.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Physiotherapy qualification is essential.
• Current AHPRA registration is essential.
• APA membership is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative rehab.
• Provide client education to support recovery and prevent reinjury.
• Collaborate with Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health staff to ensure holistic care.
• Manage a varied caseload and document progress per standards.
• Engage in professional development and supervision sessions.
• Support community health initiatives as needed.

About the role..
In this role, you will join our supportive team of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Exercise Scientists, Allied Health Assistants, and friendly support staff.
Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Provide education and advice to clients to support recovery and prevent further injury.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants, to ensure holistic client care.
• Manage a varied caseload efficiently, prioritising acute and chronic conditions.
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
• Participate in professional development activities, including mentoring and supervision sessions.
• Support community-based initiatives and health promotion programs where required.
• Maintain compliance with workplace policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships to support long-term health outcomes.

Professional development is a priority here, with regular in-services, mentoring from senior Physiotherapists, and opportunities for both in-house and external Pilates training.

You'll enjoy a diverse caseload that includes:

• Acute musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and sports injuries.
• Post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation.
• Hand therapy and work injuries.
• NDIS clients, as well as floor and studio Pilates.
