Job summary

Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC) is seeking a Precinct Events Manager to lead the annual events calendar and destination activations at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane. You will work across hotels, F&B, gaming, entertainment, retail and precinct operations to create memorable experiences while driving commercial outcomes.

You will bring at least five years in integrated resort or premium hospitality event management, plus strong skills in partnerships and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant experience in integrated resort management or premium hospitality.
• Experience planning and delivering major events and destination activations.
• Ability to develop commercial partnerships and sponsorships.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Proven project and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver the annual precinct events and entertainment calendar.
• Manage major events, festivals, activations and seasonal programs.
• Identify opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships and cross-promotional activities.
• Coordinate event logistics, safety, staffing and risk management.
• Ensure events meet guest experience, operational and commercial objectives.
