Job summary

Telwater on the Gold Coast is seeking hard-working labourers for the Large Boats and Plate Boats Paint & Preparation department. You will clean, grind, and sand boats and prep aluminium surfaces for painting, using hand and power tools to achieve the highest prep standards.

This full-time role runs 6am–2:30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours), with occasional overtime. Pay is $32.01 per hour plus productivity incentives and monthly bonuses; located in Coomera, near the marine precinct.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools including grinders and palm sanders is highly desirable.
• Hard working, reliable and willing to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety policies.
• Complete tasks timely and accurately.
• Have full Australian working rights and own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Clean, grind, sand boats and prepare aluminium surfaces for painting.
• Ensure boat surfaces are prepped to high standards prior to painting.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Follow safety policies and work efficiently to meet deadlines.

About the Role

We are seeking hard working labourers to work across our Large Boats and Plate Boats Paint & Preparation department. Duties will include cleaning, grinding, sanding boats,andpreparing aluminium surfaces for painting. This role is responsible for ensuring that our boats surfaces are prepped to the highest standard possible before they are painted. This role requires use of various hand and power tools including sanders and grinders.

Full time permanent role, working 6am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday (40hrs/week), with occasional overtime. Hourly rate is $32.01/ hour plus productivity-based earning incentives and monthly attendance and H&S bonuses.
