Job summary

Telwater, Australia’s largest plate boats manufacturer, is seeking a Trades Assistant with a current forklift licence for our Coomera team. You will move parts, assist with cabin top installs, and help welders while maintaining clear records and quality workmanship.

Working 6am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, you’ll join a busy production line requiring reliability, initiative and teamwork. Full-time role with competitive benefits and opportunities to develop skills in boat-building operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current forklift licence.
• Physically capable of manual labour tasks.
• Reliable with excellent attendance.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• A team player who is eager to learn and adapt.
• Possess own transport and driving licence (Australian work rights).
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Telwater is Australia’s largest manufacturer of trailered boats producing iconic brands such as Quintrex, Stacer, and Yellow Fin Plate boats.

About the role

We are seeking a hard working, reliable candidate, with acurrent Forklift licence, to work as a Trades Assistant for our Plate Boats team based in Coomera. Duties include operating forklift to move parts and stock around, assisting with cabin top installs and tacking of boats, maintaining accurate records of parts, assisting welders and general labouring duties.

These are full time, permanent roles working 6am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday (40hrs/ week).

• Willingness to learn. All training will be provided.
• Reliability with great attendance
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
