Job summary

Telwater, Australia’s largest manufacturer of trailered boats, is seeking a skilled labourer to join the Marine carpentry team. You will measure and cut timber flooring for our large and plate boats in a busy production environment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm, with opportunities for progression and on-site benefits. Applicants should have carpentry or cabinet making experience, reliable attendance, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Carpentry, shop fitting or cabinet making skills required.
• Ability to operate machinery, power tools and hand tools.
• Lifting and handling materials.
• Full Australian working rights.

Telwater is Australia’s largest manufacturer of trailered boats producing iconic brands such as Quintrex, Stacer, and Yellow Fin Plate boats.

About the role

Our Telwater team is currently looking for a skilled labourer with experience in either carpentry, cabinet making or similar industryto join our Marine carpentry team. The role will see the successful person measuring and cutting timber flooring for our range of large and plate boats. This is a repetitive role in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm (40hrs/ week).

• Carpentry, shop fitting, or cabinet making skills essential
• Reliability with great attendance
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
• Operating machinery, power tools and hand tools
