Job summary

John Holland is seeking a Pre-Contracts Analyst in Sydney to support work-winning activities across major rail and transport projects. You'll maintain data, generate insights and dashboards to guide decision-making before construction begins.

The role focuses on tender data, governance compliance and collaboration with Bid Managers and Commercial teams to drive opportunities and improve processes within a high-performing pre-contracts team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or rail environments.
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and business systems.
• Attention to detail and governance focus.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Rail Business Unit's work-winning and tendering activities through analysis, reporting and business insights.

About the role

As we continue to grow our Rail Business Unit, we're looking for a Pre-Contracts Analyst to support the pursuit and delivery of some of Australia's most complex rail and transport infrastructure projects.

Working within a high-performing pre-contracts team, you'll play a key role in maintaining tender and opportunity data, supporting governance processes, producing business insights and helping our teams make informed decisions across the work-winning lifecycle. From major rail programs and transport infrastructure to network upgrades and station developments, your analysis and reporting will help drive successful project outcomes long before construction begins.

What you will do
