Job summary

W Talent is recruiting a Project Manager for two Brisbane projects starting early 2027. You will lead from pre-construction through to handover, driving design, buildability, programming and procurement while managing the head contract and client relationships.

The role includes budgeting, reporting and ensuring safety and quality standards on challenging inner-city and industrial developments. Two potential projects include a Fortitude Valley commercial site and a City fringe industrial project

Qualifications

• Experience delivering commercial or industrial projects as a main contractor.
• Ability to lead pre-construction, design development and procurement planning.
• Sound knowledge of contracts, programming, procurement and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead your project from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Drive design development, buildability input, programming and procurement planning
• Manage the head contract, client relationship and reporting throughout the project
• Develop and manage the program, with focus on basement, structure and services sequencing
• Oversee procurement, trade packages and subcontractor engagement with the contract administration team
• Control budgets, cost reporting, forecasts, variations and progress claims
• Coordinate consultants and resolve design and technical issues
• Lead and support Site Managers, Contract Administrators and the broader project team
• Maintain safety, quality and environmental standards
• Manage defects, commissioning, practical completion and final account close-out
