Job summary

Act for Kids on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced leader to oversee and support practitioners, providing coaching, supervision and professional development to strengthen family outcomes.

The role focuses on guiding child protection risk, safety planning and case management, while mentoring staff in evidence-informed frameworks and facilitating supervision. It is a full-time backfill until 27 November 2026 under SCHCADS Level 6, open to internal candidates.

• Lead and empower practitioners through coaching, supervision and professional development to build capability and achieve exceptional outcomes for families.
• Drive best-practice service delivery by providing expert guidance on child protection risk, safety planning, family engagement and case management interventions.
• Shape a culture of continuous learning by mentoring staff in evidence-informed frameworks and facilitating individual, group and field-based supervision.
• Make a lasting community impact by supporting families, building stakeholder partnerships and contributing to strong service performance and outcomes.
• Full time, backfill opportunity until 27 November 2026.
• Level 6 under the SCHCADS award.

Salary: $115,340 - $120,441 + Super + Salary Packaging
