Job summary

Morningstar Australasia Pty Limited seeks a seasoned Practice Optimisation Lead to build and lead the Australian practice optimisation proposition within Managed Portfolios. You will work with the Head of National Sales to create a differentiated, adviser-focused suite of services and act as a key external spokesperson at industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience building, managing, or leading a successful financial advice business.
• Proven credibility and strong personal brand within the Australian financial advice industry.
• Experience helping advice businesses improve growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
• Experience with investment philosophies, client value propositions, strategy, pricing frameworks, M&A.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Morningstar Australia's Practice Optimisation proposition and strategic roadmap.
• Provide strategic guidance and practical implementation support across advice business optimisation areas (CVP, Investment Philosophy, Pricing, Growth).
• Deliver thought leadership content and represent Morningstar at industry events and forums.
• Collaborate with global Behavioural Insights Team to translate research into client strategies.
• Develop and deliver a Train the Trainer program to enable sales teams to engage advisers on optimised practices.
