Job summary

Sunshine Coast Orthopaedic Group in Maroochydore, QLD is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our busy specialist medical practice. You will own day-to-day operations, oversee clinical and administrative workflows, and partner with surgeons to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key duties include rostering, HR, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy medical practice.
• Strong people leadership and team management skills.
• Proven recruitment, onboarding and HR administration experience.
• Solid understanding of medical practice workflows and patient scheduling.
• Experience with accounts, payroll, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Ability to develop and maintain policies, procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Manage surgeon and clinical rosters, staff allocation and coverage.
• Oversee payroll processing, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with governance, policies and patient confidentiality.
• Foster relationships with hospitals, referrers and suppliers.
• Identify workflow improvements to enhance patient experience.
