Job summary

Talent Quarter partnered with a well-established GP Clinic in Neutral Bay to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse and Nurse Immuniser on a permanent full-time basis. The role offers a busy General Practice environment, a supportive team, and a competitive pay rate.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with one Saturday per month, providing immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, minor procedures assistance, ECGs and spirometry, and clinical documentation using Best Practice

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Nurse Immuniser qualification is essential.
• Experience in General Practice / Practice Nursing preferred.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check current.

Responsibilities

• Immunisations and vaccinations as an authorised Nurse Immuniser.
• Wound care and dressings.
• Chronic Disease Management, Care Plans and Health Assessments.
• Assisting GPs with minor procedures.
• ECGs and spirometry.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software.

Talent Quarter is proud to be partnering with a well-established GP Clinic in Neutral Bay to find an experienced Practice Nurse and Nurse Immuniser to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys working in a busy General Practice environment and is looking for the stability of a permanent, full-time position with a highly competitive rate of pay.

The Clinic

• 12 GPs
• A Practice Principal
• An experienced Practice Manager
• 4 Practice Nurses
• A supportive administration and reception team

With an established nursing team already in place, you’ll have plenty of support around you while working across a varied Practice Nursing workload.

The Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, plus one Saturday per month.

As Practice Nurse, you’ll work closely with the GPs, nursing team and wider clinic staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Immunisations and vaccinations as an authorised Nurse Immuniser
• Wound care and dressings
• Chronic Disease Management, Care Plans and Health Assessments
• Assisting GPs with minor procedures
• ECGs and spirometry
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software

About You

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Practice Nurse who enjoys being part of a collaborative, patient-focused team.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Nurse Immuniser qualification (essential)
• Previous General Practice / Practice Nursing experience
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification
• Current National Police Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Strong immunisation knowledge and experience
• Experience with wound care, chronic disease management and health assessments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach
• The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a larger clinical team

What’s On Offer

• Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm | plus 1 Saturday per month
• Up to $50 per hour + super, depending on experience
