Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our medical centre team. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe and efficient nursing services to patients while providing clinical support to Health Care Practitioners (HCPs).

Key responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations and provide post-vaccination education
• Conduct diagnostic testing relevant to patient presentations
• Provide wound care, suture removal and post-procedure education
• Assist HCPs with procedures, infusions, including preparation and post-procedure care
• Provide travel health consultations and travel vaccinations
• Assist with nurse-led clinics in accordance with Standing Orders and clinical policies
• Conduct triage and emergency assessments, recognising deterioration and escalating appropriately
• Support chronic disease management, health assessments and health promotion activities
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure clinical areas are clean, well-stocked and compliant with relevant standards
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care using sound clinical judgement and best practice principles

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Bachelor of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years' direct clinical nursing experience desirable
• Primary care experience and knowledge of chronic disease management, prevention and health promotion desirable
• Sound clinical knowledge and strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care and ongoing professional development
